Beginners course 2 days
Our experienced coaches will teach you general knowledge about kayaks, paddling techniques, how to pick the best route, basic support and manoeuvre strokes, safety issues, basic navigation, practice buddy- and float rescuing. You will practice paddling in rough seas. Above all you will get opportunities to practice your paddling.

 

Ability to swim and age of at least 15 years, are requirements. 

 

We gather at the kiosk: Navekvarn kajak, in the harbour. We will commence paddling from the shore and then out into the archipelago of Bråviken. We will camp over night on an island and then return to Nävekvarn harbour.

 

Time: Saturday 9 am – Sunday 4 pm.

Date: 17 - 18 July, 31 July - 1 Aug. 

 

Price: SEK 2 350 per person. Price includes: A fully equipped kayak, food (to be cooked by yourself), tent and camping cooker. If you are in possession of a sea kayak, you are more than welcome to bring and use it, however the same price will apply.
